Feature
WhatsApp message templates: build, submit and track approval
Outside the 24-hour customer window, WhatsApp only lets a business start a conversation with a template that Meta has approved. ClickCard lets you write the template, add variables and buttons, send it to Meta for review and see the result without leaving the dashboard.

Recommended setup
- Open Message Templates and choose a category that matches what the message does.
- Write the body with clear variables, such as {{1}} for the name, and a sample value for each.
- Submit it to Meta and check the status; sync to refresh it.
- When it is approved, use it in a campaign or a single send.
Quality tips
Pick the category honestly. Meta reclassifies a utility template that contains promotion as marketing.
Do not start or end the body with a variable, and number variables in order.
Give realistic sample values; vague samples are a common reason for rejection.
Write for the reader: say who you are and why you are writing.
Frequently asked questions
Meta reviews each template; many are decided within minutes to a day, but it varies. ClickCard shows the status and syncs it from Meta.
Common reasons are unclear or misleading wording, variables at the very start or end, missing or vague samples, and a category that does not match the content. ClickCard shows the reason Meta gives.
Approved templates have limited editing. Usually you create a new version and submit it for approval.
